Bengaluru Apr.12 Kannada film industry which is popularly known as Sandalwood is buzz with the rumors that Kichcha Sudeep and Deepika Padukone will pair together in an upcoming multilingual movie which will be be produced simultaneously in Kannada, Hindi and other languages. According to the reliable sources, even though final details not worked out, preliminary talks are on over the proposed project. "Deepika Padukone started her career through a Kannada movie Ishwarya staring real star Upendra and directed by stylish director Mr. Indrajeeth Lankesh. Kichcha Sudeep is also a popular face in Hindi and other southern states. So, if they act together it will be not a surprise,' sources said.

Former state and union minister Mr. V Shrinivasa Prasad announces political retirement following his defeat in the by-election

Bangalore Apr.13 Following his defeat in the Nanjanagud by election, former state and union minister Mr. Shrinivasa Prasad has announced retirement from active politics. On Thursday, he was defeated in the by election by whooping margin of 21,334 votes against Congress candidate Mr. Kalale Keshava Murthy. By election was necessitated following the resignation of Mr. Prasad to MLA post. Mr. Prasad had put his papers to the MLA post following his sacking from the state government. Mr. Prasad who switched to BJP later contested in the name of self respect.
