Tax department has served notices to Kichcha Sudeep, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, Real Star Upendra, Challenging Star Darshan, Golden Star Ganesh, Rakshith Shetty, Rocking Star Yash, Radhika Pandit and others for not paying professional tax. According to the sources from Kannada film industry just 70 personalities have paid tax.
According to the tax department officials, recently actor Jaggesh, Master Anand, Anushri and other paid tax directly at the tax department office. In Karnataka professional tax fixed for the actors is just Rs.2,500. In Bengaluru every month around Rs. 55 crores is collected as professional tax
